Banana & Blueberry Protein Smoothie

Dear Diet Fairy,

It’s Day #4 and well I am happy to report that I am still going strong! I started the day with my usual routine of  my banana and blueberry smoothie with protein powder. That was the easy part…

Today was my honey’s birthday, so I took him out to eat for lunch…but don’t fret guys, I still held down the VFGs!!! The restaurant’s menu was pretty limited when it came to fish, so I ordered a Boca Burger on sourdough, with red onions, pickles and lettuce.  I skipped the fries for a little extra credit and opted for dippable veggies and a garden salad. Let me tell you, the sandwich was delicious! I am going to the store today to purchase the ingredients!

Later that evening a few of us decided to go bowling. Even after a few cocktails, I still managed to keep my cravings under control and ordered a cheese quesadilla and veggie nachos. Carb-laden dishes yes, but meatless so that means I am still on track!

Wow!! I don’t even know what a “Boca” burger is but it sure looks good!!! What is it made out of??

LOL! It’s a meatless burger, they taste great especially when grilled.
